bb&bur pastry kitchen is Ben Fine (b #1), Brittany Rall (b #2) and Will Marrow (think “Wilbur,”). We are a fully licensed from-scratch bakery specializing in celebration & custom tiered and carved cakes, cookie sandwiches, custom miniature event pastries and breakfast pastries. We are able to customize menus to meet the needs of your event, including cake designs unique to your theme, dietary needs and precise color-matching.


We work closely with our clients to ensure that their desserts are as special as the events that they plan and compliment their occasions.

Who we are

BEN FINE: Ben always knew he wanted to own a business, before he discovered his love for baking. Ben attended University of Pittsburgh and attained a degree in Communications before attending Pennsylvania Culinary Institute’s Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie program, where he obtained an associates degree in Pastry and Baking. Out of culinary school, he worked at Vanilla Pastry Studio, eventually earning the position of Assistant Pastry Chef, managing production as well as the bakery staff. From there, he went on to become the General Manager of the newest Bagel Factory Oakland location. Ben then accepted a position at Square Cafe as the Front of House Manager, eventually being promoted to Assistant General Manager. 


BRITTANY RALL: Brittany has always had an uncanny ability to develop and perfect the art of baking. She has a tremendous awareness of what works in recipe development and can seamlessly apply that to her use of ingredients. Brittany attended Pennsylvania Culinary Institute’s Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking program, earning her associates degree. From there, she externed at the prestigious Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado learning the ropes of a busy, high end resort kitchen. Following her time there, she was hired as the Pastry Chef of Eleven Contemporary Kitchen, developing creative menus and managing a busy, high-end pastry kitchen. She then moved on to Square Cafe, where she currently is the bar manager, training staff and developing customized drink menus. 


WILL MARROW: Will has always had an eye for art and design. With that in mind, he attended Pennsylvania Culinary Institute’s Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking program, where he earned his associates degree. From there, Will went on to work at Vanilla Pastry Studio, eventually becoming the lead cake decorator, leading up the designs and fabrications of high-end custom cakes for some of Pittsburgh’s most high end clients. He then went on to work at lead cake decorator at Bella Christie and Lil Z’s Sweet Boutique, continuing his path as a creative cake designer. Will then moved to Eleven Contemporary Kitchen, splitting his time between the preparation and plating of high end pastries and baking bread from scratch.
